Re-installing the navigation instruments

For this type of ship (longer than 20 m), the minimum electronics required for navigation is two mariphones (VHF radio with ATIS function), one AIS class A as anti-collision system and one GPS (eventually including an electronic navigation chart system).I uninstalled everything before renewing the roef. The CVO of the Schavuit had to be renewed in 2019. Without this expensive paper is allowing the ship to navigate on European waters. So, I had to re-install the instruments…

A small chart table is installed at the entrance of the roof, at one step from the helm. A larger chart table is also available (at right side of the first picture).
The two VHF radios (“marifoon”) are installed on the top. The GPS, the AIS and the computer are installed on the table.
I am using OpenCPN as navigation software with the so called oeSENC vector charts and some other useful software.
